Martha Circle meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month from September to May in the church Fellowship Hall.
No meetings are scheduled in June, July or August. Each lady brings their own sandwich and we have 2 hostesses who offer
desserts and beverage. We open with prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. Following lunch there is a hymn sing
and devotions, a short business meeting and close with prayer. If anyone is interested in joining our Circle please
contact the Church office at 410-289-7430 or please join us at a meeting. Our main fund
raiser is our Annual Christmas Bazaar and Luncheon held the second Saturday in November each year from 10am to 2pm.
The Ad Book is started in July which contains advertisements from local businesses in our area. We
have a Christmas & Craft Shop; Country Kitchen, Decorator’s Corner; Silent Auction and White Elephant.
Members of our Circle work hard all year in order to offer the best selections at each of our booths and the luncheon
is always delicious.
With funds that are raised, a budget is voted. When
passed by the members, checks are sent to various recipients. We are proud of our work and the ability
to help our church, community and others with their needs.
