VOLUNTEER TO USHER, GREET,
READ SCRIPTURE, ASSIST WITH COMMUNION We always need volunteers to usher, greet, assist with commiunion and scripture
readers with services on Sunday Mornings. If you would like to volunteer, please
sign up on form below. You may select more than one service and more than one task. Please hold down

AUMC SOUND SYSTEM TEAM: Are you a techie?
Do you like to move switches? We are in need of a team to work the new Sound and Light System. You will be trained
on the settings to work these items. You will be turning on and off microphones and the lights during a service.
Also, you will be recording the service (generally 10:00 AM) and then making copies on a multi-duplicator that will be mailed
out to the shut-ins. All of this equipment will be located at the back of the church in a Desk that will be kept locked
when not in use by the church. We would like to have at least 4 volunteers for each service, if not more, so we can
set-up a rotating system. We know that there are volunteers out there that would love to serve the Lord at AUMC in this
capacity. We will also train any youth (ages 14 and up) that would be interested in performing this task.
From time-to-time, we may need a sound system person during a funeral, wedding, memorial service, etc. You can select
more than one service. Please hold down the control key when selecting more than one. Thank you for

AUMC OVERHEAD PROJECTION TEAM: We need volunteers to serve during all of the church services to work processing the overhead projector slides.
We need at least 4 different people signed up for each service so that we can set-up a rotating schedule. We will train
you on selecting the slides during the service. If you are familiar with the computer and can click the mouse, that
you should not have any problem performing this task. We also will need volunteers (if needed ) to help with making
some of these slides. Again, we will train on this task. Also we may need someone from time-to-time to assist
at a funeral, wedding, memorial service, etc. to project slides. Volunteers will sit at the back of the church to perform
this task during the services. This is a way to serve the Lord during a church service, you may not like to stand up
and talk in front of people, so this is a great way to participate in a service. You may select more than one service.
